CISDI involves in construction of Baosteel Shanghai’s four blast furnaces, each with a volume range of from 4,800m³ to 5,000m³.

Baosteel Shanghai blast furnace 3 has a campaign life of 19 years and produces hot metal of 15,700 tonnes per unit of furnace volume. It’s China’s longest served blast furnace.

Baosteel Shanghai blast furnace 1 was revamped by CISDI, China’s first blast furnace expanded to a volume of 5,000m³-level.

CISDI has designed 22 large blast furnaces all with a volume of 4,000m³ and higher levels for the world’s clients, accounting for one fourth of the global total quantity of large blast furnaces
